how to make the chat stop reseting my settings?

I've tried clearing the cache in my browser but no success,suggestions please.

You mean like moderator status and such? If anything, clearing the cache is going to make it worse. The only thing I can think of is to register on xat.

Probably, I never had my details reset since I registered.

It always resets my settings when i clean my cache, so I actually recommend avoiding that.

I only cleared the cache cause Adam recommended doing so before (I think =S)
