And the reason being is that you can't help each other when it takes half the f***ing day to send military support or resources! Imagine a situation where you're attacked by some other alliance and your alliance can't do s**t to help you because by the time their army gets to you or any of your enemies your damn city is destroyed. Of course there might be a situation where your alliance is spread out into smaller groups but you need to have some people from your alliance that are close to you or you can as well play alone alien
